okay back to business. today 5nemesu is none other than a noisy and troublesome class, and we love it! i really got nothing to say but we have 3 new students in class. Ratcha, izzudin, and hoong Yi. =) we don't mind them joining our party but sometimes, i have to admit, ratcha is one hell of a annoying fella! and very rude one too. ahhh...hate him. his black, fat, tall, and stupid. OH! he loves to F*** goat. izzudin and hoong yi is was better than him. his a big fat liar. one of A KIND! okay, enough said.

it's been awhile since the last blog. was kinda lazy, and you know...4 nemesu is coming to an end. and 5 nemesu is coming into year 2007! obviously, we are gonna miss all past and Mr.Ben-Ji. sighh...goodbye big bro and all the best in O-levels. =D

Hello everyone! It's kind of sad that the year 2006 is coming to an end. But we will never forget what we have done through out this year. 4 nemesu has gone through so much joy and pain together. So we are still going to face the coming year together again (but with one Nemeshuan less, that is The Ben-Ji). WE will stay together as ONE big FAMILY! And we would like to thank OUR form teacher Encik Abdul Rahman. He's a very patient man and never fails to inspire us with his drawing.(owh did I mention he's our art teacher?)

Hello dudes, today I'm going to explain to you succinctly about hives which I had for 2 days in a row a few days ago(that rhymes hahaha). I used to get hives when i was in primary school then it stopped for a few years. And then it came back. to tell you the truth, I kind of like getting hives (they are very itchy fyi). I will not post a picture of hives here as they may not be the most pleasing of sights. Hives actualy look like umm, you know when you get a mosquito bite and after that it swells up a little? Yeah, it is exactly like that but multiple "mosquito bites". The scientific name for hives is urticaria.

"Urticaria or hives is a relatively common form of allergic reaction that causes raised red skin welts. Urticaria is also known as nettle rash or uredo. These welts can be to 5 mm (0.2 inches) in diameter or more, itch severely, and often have a pale border. Urticaria is generally caused by direct contact with an allergenic substance, or an immune response to food or some other allergen. Hives can also be caused by stress."

The skin lesions of urticarial disease is caused by an inflammatory reaction in the skin, causing leakage from capillaries in the epidermis, resulting in an edema which persists until the interstitial fluid is absorbed into the surrounding cells.
Urticarial disease are thought to be caused by the release of histamine and other mediators of inflammation (cytokines) from cells in the skin. This process can be the result of an allergic or non-allergic reaction, differing in eliciting mechanism of histamine release.
Allergic urticaria
Histamine and other pro-inflammatory substances are released from mast cells in the skin and tissues in response to the binding of allergen-bound IgE antibodies to high affinity cell surface receptors. Basophils and other inflammatory cells are also seen to release histamine and other mediators, and are thought to play an important role, especially in chronic urticarial diseases.
Non-allergic urticaria
Mechanisms other than allergen-antibody interactions are known to cause histamine release from mast cells. For instance, a diverse group of signaling substances called neuropeptides have been found to be involved in emotionally induced urticaria.

well, we are still having exams ever since last week...and it's suck. damn wish i over by now or can i wish there's no such thing as exam?! i know all the people in our class hope to be finish as soon as possible. and there's a sad news to tell, miss collins(our sub english teacher) is leaving! she's going back to sarawak and not coming back...sad huh? so we took pics together(we can't show it yet coz the pictures is with miss collins) and she gave us some hand made keychain(i think so) pretty nice. haha. anyway, we are gonna miss her so badly!!*sobz
